An Encouraging Word

It's nice to be needed. My sisters and I have been working on getting our lives in order with the help of the FLYlady, and realized that we need help from one another to keep ourselves motivated. Which is why I wasn't surprised by the voicemail I received this morning from my sister asking for some encouragement. Unfortunately my battery had died so I was unable to receive her call, and by the time I got back to her, she was unable to receive mine. So, I decided to follow her lead and send her some "FLYmail" as she calls it. (She has been sending me notes of encouragement, one of them included tea, to keep me motivated and to have something to look forward to.)
My "FLYmail" for today consists of a note, some post-it reminders that she can hang around her house, and this bracelet that I whipped-up from some scrap fabric and some notions that I had on hand. I left the edges raw and included the meaning for that in my note.

Completed bracelet!
In the note for her, I wrote what this bracelet now symbolizes: Red - For the strength you have to endure any challenges; Blue - For the peace you experience when you're prepared for anything; Yellow - For the joy your family feels when you have it all together; Gift Charm - To remind you that you are a gift to your family and to the world; Raw Edges - Because we're not perfect!
